Originally from NJ, I spent my fiRst 22 years no more than 10 miles from the atlantic ​ocean. In my undergraduate studies at The university of miami, I studied Psychology ​and sociology. During graduate school, In denver, I focused on LGBTQ+ HEALTH ​advocacy and clinical therapy. Working as a clinical social worker ​throughout the pandemic allowed me to realize that I can achieve success in ​merging my two areas of passion into a career. As a boutique freelance PADI ​dive instructor from the U.S., I set myself apart from other divers with respect to My ​diverse background in clinical, community social work, a dedication to life-long ​education & creating safe environments for my students.

Safety

I abide by all rules, local regulations, and PADI ​standards. I’ve had my Open Water diver for 23 ​years and completed all professional PADI training. ​I’ve worked as a swim instructor, lifeguard, and ​swam competitively. I only use the most ​conservative dive plan, regardless of dive level and ​use professional discretion.

Not everyone has lived near a tropical ​ocean for most of their lives. Your unique ​experience will be catered to your comfort ​level and will take as long as needed to ​achieve the outcome you desire.

Feel Grounded with respect to our ​unexplored world

  • The difference between walking on land and swimming/drifting underwater is that you ​are completely suspended in water, which is more dense than air. Normally, we start a ​meditation with our bodies in a comfortable position, we may lie down, take our shoes ​and socks off to touch the floor to ground ourselves. While scuba diving, you are in 4 ​dimensions, where your entire body is fully grounded.
  • Maintaining neutral buoyancy is one of the core specialties I offer and benefits ​include, but are not limited to; better breathing techniques, diving longer due to less ​gas consumption, and being able to stay calm and at peace with your surroundings.

Overfishing, run-off, micro plastics, etc., all lead ​to the lasting & damaging effects that climate ​change has on our waters. The future is ​uncertain, but if we are at peace with nature ​and ourselves, both can begin to heal in the ​present.

Unfortunately, we have not adapted to breathing ​underwater without the use of technology. We are visitors in ​the waters we dive in and respect all marine life. Not just for ​the safety of the animals, but for ourselves.

70% of the. Earth’s surface is covered in unexplored ocean. ​We want to not just keep our top tier diving locations, but to ​both maintain and help foster healthy environments for our ​undersea neighbors. Ask about any environmental activities ​you would like to be a part of!

Whether you have been diving for years and want to try an ​ego-free, eco-conscious and holistic scuba diving experience, or ​whether you are a beginner, all are welcome.

  • Prices vary based on whether you are coming on guided dives or ​taking part in a 1:1 PADI Open Water/Advanced Open Water
  • Open Water run for 2.5 -> 3 days with reduced prices for ​continuous diving, memberships or certifications, and learning ​materials.
  • Fun Dives/Guided Dives: Inquire within, includes both briefing and ​debriefing sessions.
  • VETERANS GET 5 FREE GUIDED DIVES.
